Many (ill-informed!) individuals believe that the fun begins and ends on the west side of the floating bridge. We couldn’t disagree more…

Our home of Kirkland, WA can be described as a waterfront oasis. We prefer to find our entertainment over on the east side.

SLEEP
Our neighbors to the west may be able to claim more, but the hotels in our fair city are truly four-star experiences. Boutique in nature, places like The Heathman and The Woodmark, are ideal spots to plan a vacation, or better yet a staycation. If you want the only hotel located on Lake Washington, choose The Woodmark, or if you want a spot in the heart of downtown, go with The Heathman. Really, there’s no way to go wrong.

EAT
The local flavor is truly delicious. One stroll through Kirkland provides endless opportunities to flex your foodie muscles. There are incredible fine dining restaurants such as Cafe Juanita, bites with a view at Bin on the Lake, and French inspired in the heart of the city at Lynn’s Bistro. It’s also been said, that one truly hasn’t lived until they’ve tried the cake at Deru Market!

DRINK
The wine scene in Kirkland is worth celebrating. Head to our favorite The Grape Choice to enjoy a wine tasting right in Marina Park. There are also a number of local breweries settling into Kirkland. Try out Chainline Brewing Company and Flycaster Brewing.
