2014 Mistura Blanco
This is a dry white blend that has some texture and body from the Semillon and Oak used during fermentation. There are flavors of tropical fruit with some minerality and creaminess on the mid palate. There is a touch of peach and vanilla with some texture throughout your mouth that makes this blend on of my favoties
2014 Rosè
It has been since 2009 that we made our rose from more saignee than direct press juice. This gives it a bit more depth and color. The Bordeaux grape adds some Bing cherry and raspberry to the traditional strawberry flavors. The barrel aging of part of this rose gives it more mid pallet that is also accented from the Primitivo and Syrah. It has a finish that lingers just a touch giving this rose lots of body from the nose through to the finish.
2011 Tempranillo
This is an elegant wine with a bouquet of cherry, vanilla and smoke. The flavors of dark cherry and chocolate with spices and a hint of leather give this medium bodied wine a very smooth lingering finish. Well balanced and consistent from the first sniff of cherry to the last taste on the pallet.
2011 Monastrell
This wine is dominated by deep fruit that makes it very smooth. The nose has plum, pepper and bing cherry. He plum continues into the smooth flavors on light oak, medium acidy and even some berry. The flavors linger but are still fruit dominate with some grassiness and white pepper.
