College Cellars

Walla Walla, WA

College Cellars of Walla Walla is a teaching winery located at the Center for Enology and Viticulture on the campus of Walla Walla Community College. The 15,000 square foot facility houses wine curriculum classrooms, a wine analysis laboratory, faculty offices, and the fully operational commercial winery. College Cellars of Walla Walla is one of the only two-year teaching commercial wineries in the United States. Our wines are crafted by students as a part of their study of the science of winemaking. The winery was bonded in September, 2003 and our first wine, a 2002 Sagemoor Vineyards Chardonnay, was released in May, 2004. The proceeds from the sale of College Cellars wine go to support the Enology & Viticulture program and students. Cheers to students!
2014 Cabernet Sauvignon
2014 Tempranillo
2015 Chardonnay
Hints of butter, toasted marshmallow, cinnamon, and clove on the nose. The palate includes flavors of nutmeg and peach cobbler. This wine is rich and unctuous in texture and has a balanced acidity. The finish is long and lingering.
2015 Roussanne
On the nose, aromas of white peach, and apple blossom give way to an unctuous mouthfeel that recalls notes of poached pear and nutmeg, rounded out by the fresh zest of key lime and lemon peel

Located in the Wine Pavillon.
